Humanities,
The BMRC reunion celebrated and assessed accomplishments of former fellows from 2009 to 2017. BMRC is a Chicago-based association of libraries, universities, and other archival institutions, which seeks to promote discovery, preservation, and use of materials that document African American and African diasporic culture, history, and politics, with a specific focus on materials relating to Chicago. BMRC explains its summer fellowship advocates and develops “new, original research and art [that] illuminates the national and international importance of Chicago’s African American community.”
