Associate Professor Dan Rybicky Nominated for Vimeo's "Best of the Year" Award
Columbia College Chicago Associate Professor Dan Rybicky has been nominated for Vimeo's “Best of the Year” Award for his short documentary, “Accident, MD."
The film, which was directed and produced by Rybicky, features residents of the small town of Accident, Maryland discussing America’s healthcare crisis. It previously received a favorable review from The New Yorker following the 2018 Maryland Film Festival.
Each year, the curation team at Vimeo hand-selects more than 1,000 Staff Picks from the millions of videos uploaded to Vimeo. Their favorites from 2019 will be honored at a ceremony in New York City this coming Saturday, January 11 which Rybicky will be attending.
