Krista Hoefle
June 14 - July 3, 2010
Krista Hoefle examines feminine, archetypal roles found within the genres of sci-fi and cyberpunk film and literature through invented female characters found in speculative fiction and film. She uses imaging formats normally found in the realms of science (scans, x-rays, blueprints, sonograms), combining them with abstract data to create an open-ended narrative about a fictional character impacted by technology and innovation. While at Anchor Graphics Krista worked on a series of that combines cyanotypes, screen printing, and collage.
