In the Art + Design Department at Columbia College Chicago, we know that you can make an enduring career with your artistic talents. We encourage innovation and commitment throughout our curriculum. Our programs will help you develop your aesthetic and critical sense, your creative problem-solving skills, and your expertise with materials and diverse technologies. James Meyers, Art + Design's Office Manager, created a music video for the song "Lonely Broke and Busted" for a Kansas City band called Adam Lee and the Dead Horse Sound Company.

MichaeL K. Paxton, Adjunct Faculty in Art + Design, a Chicago-based artist, has been selected as an artist-in-residence this summer at the Air Le Parc, Project and Research Center in Pampelonne, France.
