A+D student Julia Soderberg designed pictograms in Renee Ramsey-Passmore's Sign, Symbol, Image class which were submitted to the Noun Project. Julia sold 15 of her designs and was contacted for a freelance job designing pictograms for an owner of a cosmetics company.
Congratulations go to A+D Faculty members in Product Design, Tao Huang and Becky Buck, who have been awarded the Timothy J. Densmore Service-Learning Fellowship, and Petra Probstner, Interior Architecture, along with Fashion Studies faculty member Amy Meadows, who have been awarded the CiTE Cross-Curricular Collaboration Fellowship.
Associate Professor of Graphic Design, Kay Hartmann, will enjoy a solo
show at Chicago's Woman Made Gallery that opens with a reception on Friday, May 10th, from 6–9pm,
titled What's Wrong With This Picture?
