Join us as we celebrate the blues in the arts including music and a staged reading from August Wilson's ten play cycle of the African American experience. This year's special keynote address will be delivered by Amiri Baraka (LeRoi Jones). The Author/Architect of the Black Arts Movement and Poet Laureate of the Newark , New Jersey Public Schools will speak from his book, Blues People: Negro Music in White America.
