WELCOME TO COLUMBIA COLLEGE CHICAGO! We look forward to having you on campus and in the classroom this upcoming fall. There are a few required steps you must complete before enrolling in classes as a graduate student, but there are also several optional things you can do if you're eager to get your Columbia experience underway:

    Start engagining with your new Columbia community now. Meet classmates, find roommates, learn about upcoming events, post photos, or simply share your thoughts or concerns with other Columbia graduate students.
  • CHECK OUT OUR RELOCATION GUIDE
    Moving to Chicago? This handy guide gives you tips on how to decipher the language of Chicago classifieds, key differentiators between neighborhoods, things to have in mind when reading leases, and contact information for free apartment-finding services. NOTE: Keep in mind that rent prices typically increase anually, so be sure to check local listings for up-to-date figures.
  • EXPLORE EVENTS IN AND AROUND COLUMBIA
    Now that the application process is behind you, relax and take some time to get to know your new urban campus! Between lectures, exhibitions, and performances hosted by Columbia, and the myriad of events happening around the city of Chicago, you'll find no shortage of things to do this summer.
