The Printers’ Ball is an annual celebration of literary culture, featuring thousands of magazines, books, and broadsides available free of charge; live music, readings, and other performances; letterpress, offset, and paper-making demonstrations; and much more, free to all ages. This past year's theme was "It's  Alive!" Formal attire was NOT required but costumes WERE encouraged!

The Printers’ Ball was brought to you by the Chicago Underground Library, Columbia College Chicago Center for Book and Paper Arts and Special Events Student Affairs, MAKE: A Chicago Literary Magazine and Poetry. This year’s special guests included: Drag City Records, Judgeworks, New Directions, Pocket Guide to Hell Tours, and Uncle Fun!
