This is an example page layout that does not adhere to the website brand standard.



We advise against:

Placing a horizontal image (A) across the top of the page. Only first level pages of the primary navigation (i.e., About Columbia, Admissions, Academics, etc.) should use these images.

Using more than one intruder in the left column (B); excessive use of text.

Using large/multiple images within the copy block in the middle column (C) when an intruder is used in the left column; using several different font colors, weights, and sizes within the copy.

Adding images in the right column (D); excessive use of text.
