Lincoln Laureate Award

• Eligible students are nominated by Columbia faculty and staff members by printing, filling out, and submitting this form to Harold Wexler in the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at 600 S Michigan Ave, Room 811 or hwexler@colum.edu. The form must be submitted by the deadline of 5:00 pm on September 17, 2012.

The Lincoln Academy, unique among the fifty states, was established in 1964 to honor Illinois' most distinguished citizens with the state's highest award, the Order of Lincoln. Since 1975, nominated student laureates are honored each fall at a ceremony and luncheon at the Old State Capitol in Springfield.
