The Pougialis Fine Art Award application is available online through your OASIS portal. Only complete scholarship applications submitted by the deadline will be reviewed by the scholarship committee.
The Pougialis Fine Art Award application process is in two parts. Part one - apply online. Part two - install their creative work at the Averill and Bernard Leviton A+D Gallery at 619 S. Wabash for competition. See details below:
PART 1: ONLINE APPLICATION
Upload an artist statement and a description of the work to be potentially installed.
Please note: Only complete scholarship applications submitted by the deadline will be considered for installation of artwork in the Averill and Bernard Leviton A+D Gallery for competition. PART 2: INSTALLATION OF WORK SAMPLES
Creative work may include but is not limited to: painting, drawing, objects, installation, video, performance, prints, photography, and multiples.
Students will have 2 days to set up their work and will be responsible for installing and de-installing their work - the days and times to install are:
- April 24, 2013: 10am - 5pm
- April 25, 2013: 10am - 8pm
NOTE: A copy of your artist statement will need to accompany the work.
Public Reception and Judging:
- April 26, 2013: 11am - 5pm
De-installation and pick-up date:
- April 27, 2013: 11am - 5pm
GALLERY INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
- No painting or drawing directly on the wall; no water, no dirt, no food or other perishable items, no exceptions
- Items hung from the ceiling must have approval by the gallery staff BEFORE installation begins
- Projections are highly discouraged given the large number of applicants - the space is tight and cannot be darkened enough for projections to be seen
- Pedestals and audio/visual equipment will be available on a first come/first served basis per application submission date
- The Averill and Bernard Leviton A+D Gallery staff will supply basic tools and hardware

There are two ways to locate the Pougialis Fine Art Award application:
- Applicant Portal: You may scroll through the list of scholarship programs until you locate the Pougialis Fine Art Award, and then select the "Start Application" link.
- Scholarship Search: Select the "Search Scholarships" link in the navigation on the left-hand side of the page. You may search for the Pougialis Fine Art Award by using category, keyword, or description/name search. Once you locate the program, select the "More Info" link to be taken to the application form.
