Eonian: Activism is Everlasting

On May 17, 2013, Columbia College Chicago will celebrate the work of its more than 2,000 graduating students with its annual urban arts festival, Manifest. One Tribe will be participating in Manifest by curating an outdoor exhibition on campus.

The exhibition, "Eonian: Activism is Everlasting," will bring together artists working in different fields to showcase how activism and social change are an essential part of our artistic practice. We envision live performances, interactive art, live painting, and more inside and around an industrial crate.

To submit work or performances to Eonian, please download and complete the Submission Form and email it to tillman.curtis@gmail.com. Forms and artwork are due by Thursday, May 9, 2013.

Namaste

We will also be creating a special issue of Namaste for our Manifest exhibition. Namaste is a magazine that One Tribe has created to showcase social justice initiatives by the student body at Columbia. If you want your story behind how activism and social change are an essential part of your artistic practice, you must email your written and/or visual response to tillman.curtis@gmail.com by Friday, April 19, 2013.
