This Master of Arts program emphasizes public affairs reporting and the crucial role played by a free and active press in communities large and small, national and international. Your curriculum focuses on issues central to civic life: education, housing, welfare, criminal justice, labor, politics and the electoral process, science, economies, and arts. In addition to extensive instruction and practice in various forms of journalistic writing, you’ll learn multimedia reporting and, as electives, magazine and broadcast specialties. You are encouraged to publish your work while earning your degree.Learn More
