Art + Activism

What no one tells us is that “activism” is relative. It’s relative to you, your experiences, your past, your beliefs. And yet, if you create something meaningful for and to you, no one is quick to call it activism. We are doing what we can with what we love to do. Art that is impactful to us that is saturated with our own beliefs and philosophies and messages. This is our art. This is our activism.

Slacktivism (n). –The illusion that your reposts actually change anything.
