Project Summary:

At this pivotal time in higher education in general and for Columbia in particular, it is critical that our institution adopt the best practices in teaching and be thinking broadly and deeply about offering students multiple ways to learn. It is imperative that we expand our online offerings.

Assessment: 

As Columbia works to expand its pool of potential students - especially among adult learners, international students and military veterans - online learning must be part of the college’s overall strategy.

Going Forward:

This explosion in online learning is changing the higher education playing field. Columbia must not be left behind. There are a number of steps Columbia should take in the next 18 months to ensure the college does not lose any more ground.
