This year, Conversations in the Arts reunites the cast of the timeless 1987 film La Bamba; brings you face-to-face with dancer, choreographer, actress, and director Debbie Allen; and presents Michele Norris, journalist and longtime host of NPR's All Things Considered. The La Bamba Reunion with Lou Diamond Philips, Esai Morales, and Elizabeth Pena coincided with Columbia Night at the Chicago International Film Festival.

Take the opportunity to listen in as our speakers share their influential ideas and work in the intimate setting of our Conversations in the Arts series.

All lectures begin at 6:00 p.m*. at the Film Row Cinema of Columbia College Chicago, 1104 S. Wabash Ave, on the 8th floor, with the exception of the La Bamba Reunion, which takes place at the AMC River East 21 Theaters at 322 E. Illinois St.  *Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. (except for the La Bamba Reunion).

Online reservations are available at no charge through this site on a first-come, first-served basis four to six weeks before each event. Note: Theater seating is limited.
