The Afro-Latin@ Two-Week Summer Dance Intensive explores the rich relationship between Africanist and Latin@ aesthetics. The intensive represents The Dance Center’s ongoing efforts towardd integrating Afro-Latin@ aesthetics into the dance curriculum. Students currently training and performing Afro-Latin@ dance styles off campus will now have the opportunity to do so at The Dance Center in downtown Chicago.
