Bryan D. Sido Scholarship

for continuing undergraduate students

The Bryan D. Sido Scholarship fund was established to assist Music Business students who demonstrate passion, academic excellence and recognized commitment to the music business industry. Recipient’s academic interests should include live entertainment, band management, and/or talent identification. The award will be up to $2,000 for one academic year.

Deadline: February 01, 2015

The Bryan D. Sido Scholarship is open to undergraduate Music Business Majors who fit the following criteria:

  • Full-time Juniors or Seniors;
  • Completed at least 12 credit hours at Columbia College at the time of application;
  • Earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher;
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for the music industry;
  • Have a committment to pursuing a career in Music Business;
  • Demonstrate financial need through a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Award based on:

  • Ability to demonstrate passion and in-depth knowledge of the music business industry
  • Academic accomplishment
  • Financial need


Award Amount:

  • Up to $2000 (half awarded in Fall and half awarded in Spring)


Notification of the award:

  • Recipient will be notified by the scholarship committee my March 15, 2015
