Body of Work
Your body of work is everything you produce in the classroom, during an internship, in collaboration with other students, or at a gig. It's an expanding living box full of brilliant mistakes, screwy ideas, and your very best projects. And in its gathered form, it is powerful.
Body of work is how teachers, colleagues, and eventually professionals, will take a measure of your skills, talents -and especially- potential to do great work.
Hang on to your body of work like you would a sacred memory or a great notion. Put it in a special place- but get it out once in a while and spend some time with it.
