1098-T Form

Because you're attending college, you or your family may be eligible for higher education tax benefits. To claim your benefits, you will need a 1098-T form. The 1098-T form is an information form filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It reports the total amount of payments made for qualified tuition and related expenses, as well as other related information.

Your 1098-T form for the 2023 year will be available electronically on January 31, 2024. The 1098-T form will not be mailed to you.

Students who were billed for courses in the MyColumbia portal during the 2023 calendar year, and did not graduate in 2023, may retrieve their 1098-T form using a pass-through login from within CCCPay.

Students who graduated in 2023 do not have access to the MyColumbia portal. Please follow the instructions below to retrieve your 1098-T form.

Students who graduated after the Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 semester, may retrieve their 1098-T form electronically at www.tsc1098t.com

You are not required to attach the 1098-T to your tax return. If you need a copy of your 1098-T form for the 2016 tax year or prior, contact Columbia Central.
