What made you choose Columbia?

I'm lucky enough to have been born in this beautiful city, and seeing that the history and architecture of this city is priceless, it made sense to learn at Columbia!

What do you plan on studying during your time here?

I’m going to be studying interior architecture.

What are your career goals at this time?

Currently, I would like to get some experience with interior architecture. I plan on also getting a certification in Home Staging and achieve my Real Estate license.

What do you most look forward to about learning and creating in Chicago?

Chicago has its own story to tell and I'm here to listen and show it to the world. I hope to use this time to expand my horizons about architecture since my background is interior design.

How do you see your artistic practice engaging with contemporary events?

With times changing and the world evolving, it's up to our generation to push for a new norm. Being of South Asian background, our community tends to look down upon artistic creativity as a way of living. I'd like to show that being a designer or artist is part of the new norm and creativity will help one conquer any goal.
